Samurai Shodown - Anime 1994

 Anos atrás sai em VHS no Brasil 3 animes baseados em games de luta da Neo Geo.
Fatal Fury  -Art of Fighting e Samurai Shodown. Foi muito bacana ver que teve animes desses games.
Porem. Os animes não foram aqueles animes que esperava, Fatal fury foi o único mais caprichado. Com algumas liberdades poéticas irritantes e nada a ver com o game, mas ok.
Art of Fighting foi o mais fraco de todos, Samurai Shodown, não era o melhor, mas dava para assistir. o problema era sua arte. Nunca gostei, alguns personagens ficaram até sem graça como a Nakoruru.
Fiz esse desenho pensando em como poderia ter sido.

 Years ago, three anime based on Neo Geo fighting games came out on VHS in Brazil:
Fatal Fury - Art of Fighting and Samurai Shodown. It was really cool to see that there were animes based on these games.
However, the animes weren't what I expected. Fatal Fury was the only one with a good workmanship. It took some annoying poetic liberties and had nothing to do with the game, but that was okay.
Art of Fighting was the weakest of them all. Samurai Shodown wasn't the best, but it was watchable. The problem was the art. I never liked it; some characters were even boring, like Nakoruru.
I made this drawing thinking about what it could have been like.

Legend Of Makai Arcade Poster Parodia.

Essa imagem é uma parodia pôster original do game Legend Of Makai 1987 da Jaleco.
O pôster original me fez querer brincar com a ideia da imagem, então aqui na minha versão adicionei um herói bobão, um unicórnio desmiolado, e uma princesa fazendo uma cara de quem diz.
“Xii! Esse aí é o meu herói? Mas que #$%”
E ao fundo um castelo, e pelas luzes que sai das janelas parece que está rolando uma festa pesada lá dentro. No alto do castelo temos o bruxo, o vilão da história. Só que esse feiticeiro é daqueles que curte uma boa farra! kkk

This image is a parody of the original poster for Jaleco's 1987 game Legend of Makai.
The original poster made me want to play with the image's concept, so in my version, I added a goofy hero, a scatterbrained unicorn, and a princess making a face like, "Oh no! That's my hero? What the f*ck!"
And in the background, a castle, and from the lights coming from the windows, it looks like a wild party is going on inside. At the top of the castle, we have the wizard, the villain of the story. But this wizard is one of those who enjoys a good party! lol
